Salary: $30,000.00 to $80,000.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week, Mileage Paid

Skill Requirements: Education: Completion of high school, Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Electrician Trade Certification, Gold Seal Membership in the Canadian Construction Association, Membership in the Professional Corporation for Estimators, Driver's License
Experience: Experience an asset
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Major Work Area: Estimating, Quantity surveying

Business Equipment and Computer Applications: Spreadsheets, Estimating packages, Take-off packages
Specific Skills: Prepare estimates of labour and material costs, Prepare bill of material, Prepare master format estimates (Class A), Prepare elemental format estimates (Classes B, C, D), Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers and contractors, Prepare estimates for general expenses and overheads, Project cash flow and financing requirements, Estimate pre-contract costs, Select sub-trades, Utilize quantity take-off procedures, Advise on tendering procedures, Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems, Monitor and adjust contract expenditures
Additional Skills: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications
Security and Safety: Bondable, Basic security clearance
